On this
part of the site, we'll be presenting spiritual quotations
that try to get at the heart of our relationships with God.
It's important to remember that an idea about spirituality
simply does not have to be the product of the concepts or
ideas put forth by one particular religion or creed--we all
are spiritual beings, doing our best to make decent lives
for ourselves and seeking to discover or improve our
relationship with our God.
These thoughts are not necessarily separate from the rest of
the site--there are thoughts addressing spirituality on the
other set of pages. It's just that in this section, we
want to provide a refuge where a person can immerse him- or
herself in thoughts and ideas centered on spirituality and
God. The random nature of the main pages simply
doesn't allow for that type of immersion.
We're starting small, but we'll grow soon and keep growing!
The links are below. Read the pages in order or at
random. Read one page a day or five. It's
completely up to you. But let the thoughts sink in,
allow them to affect you, and you'll find your perspective
growing and developing as many wonderful teachers teach you
many great lessons, and you choose to learn them and make
them part of who you are.
You may find
repeats of the quotations every now and then. I've
tried to make them all unique, but I'm not too worried if a
few doubles sneak by now and then. Knowing how life
tends to be, I know that if you happen to find the same
message twice on two different pages, then there's a good
chance that it's a message that's even more important to you
than all the others! |
